North Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC) is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving the North Central Florida area. NFRMC also has three full-service, 24/7 Freestanding Emergency Rooms: Millhopper ER, West End ER and Starke ER. The hospital is proud to have one of the leading stroke programs in HCA Healthcare, and provides advanced cardiovascular services and clinical trials. Additionally, NFRMC’s Women’s Services held its status as the hospital that delivers more babies for our community (over 3,300). North Florida Regional remains a leader in delivering quality, award-winning healthcare to the Gainesville community and its surrounding areas.

Dedicated to the care of patients with cancer, physicians and nurses deliver care from our 25,000-square foot, state-of-the-art Cancer Center. Our multidisciplinary cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
The Robotics Center is a leader in robotic-assisted surgery with high volume programs in gynecology, gynecologic oncology and urology. Surgical firsts include the area’s first single incision hysterectomy and first use of near-infrared fluorescence imaging guidance.
Designated as a Primary Stroke Center, the hospital is also recognized as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and hip and knee replacement. Robotic navigation, the O-Arm and the Hana Table are a few examples of advanced technology available for our patients.
For more than 25 years, physicians and staff have provided care for patients who choose weight loss surgery to achieve a healthy life. Our center is accredited by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as a Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery.

The Behavioral Health Center of North Florida Regional Healthcare offers a continuum of psychiatric care including Inpatient Acute Care, Outpatient Care and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
