North Florida Regional Medical Center is a community-based hospital. Our Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program offers resident training in different types of training facilities with protected didactics from faculty who care and are excited to teach. We received our initial accreditation by the ACGME on April 27, 2017. We are very excited to welcome our first class of residents on July 1, 2018.

We will be accepting applications through ERAS and will participate in the NRMP match. Our ERAS number is 2201100078 and our NRMP number is 1587220C1. Your ERAS application should include a personal statement, medical school transcript, 3 letters of recommendation (one being from an Ob/Gyn), MSPE, COMLEX/USMLE transcript, and ECFMG (if applicable).
There is no specific score requirement but the recruitment committee will take scores into consideration when reviewing applications. Step 1 and both parts of Step 2 need to be passed within 2 attempts prior to submission of the rank order list.
We only accept a J1 visa that is sponsored through the ECFMG.
Our program is university sponsored and is community based. We are affiliated with the University of Central Florida. Residents will be rotating at North Florida Regional Medical Center, a 445 bed community hospital, and Jacksonville Center for Reproductive Medicine, a community reproductive center.
We accept applications through ERAS on a rolling basis. Interviews start in October and end in min-January. Applications are reviewed in ERAS starting September 15, so the earlier that you apply the better.
No, it does not matter. However, graduation in the past 3 years makes your application more competitive.
