Our residents will be exposed to 4-week core rotation blocks.

The remaining four months of training will consist of elective rotations. Elective options include:

  • Orthopedics
  • Radiology
    • For residents matched into an ACGME-accredited program, a maximum of two months of radiology is allowed. However, it must be completed at an institution that has an ACGME-accredited radiology residency program (North Florida Regional Medical Center does not have an ACGME-accredited radiology residency program).
      • Anesthesiology
      • Business in Medicine
      • Cardiology
      • Dermatology
      • Infectious Disease
      • Nephrology
      • Neurology (General, Interventional, and Stroke)
      • Ophthalmology
      • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
        • Per ACGME requirements, residents matched into a PM&R residency may complete no more than 4 weeks in a PM&R rotation during their intern year.
      • Psychiatry
      • Pulmonology
      • Radiation Oncology
        • For residents matched into an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency program.
      • Radiology
        • For residents matched into an ACGME-accredited Radiology program, a maximum of two months of radiology is allowed. However, it must be completed at an institution that has an ACGME-accredited radiology residency program (North Florida Regional Medical Center does not have an ACGME-accredited radiology residency program).
      • Surgical Oncology

      Other electives may be available upon request.
